The H-1B initial registration period ends on March 22.

The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to hire foreign workers in specialty areas that require theoretical or technical skills.
The initial registration period for the most sought-after H-1B visas for foreign guest workers for fiscal 2025 ends at noon Eastern Time (9:30 p.m. IST) on March 22, according to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). During this time, prospective petitioners and legal representatives must utilize a US Citizenship and Immigration Services online account to electronically register each beneficiary for the selection process and pay the registration cost. Users of online accounts will be able to collaborate on registrations and petitions using upgraded organizational account features, according to the announcement. Forms I-129, a petition for a non-immigrant worker; H-1B petitions; and Form I-907, a request for premium processing service, are now available through USCIS online accounts, according to a media release. On April 1, the USCIS will begin collecting online forms for H-1B cap petitions. “We will announce when online filing of non-cap H-1B petitions is available,” the USCIS said in a statement.
