In-Demand Skills Stream holds draws regularly throughout the year. The frequency of the draws might vary according to the program’s requirements and the number of applications in the system.
The dates of the next drawings and the number of invitations to be given are usually announced in advance by OINP. However, the minimum score necessary for an invitation to apply (ITA) might vary from one draw to the next because it is determined by the number of candidates in the pool and the needs of the program.
It is crucial to remember that achieving the minimum score does not guarantee an ITA, since other variables such as program quotas and eligibility requirements may also be considered. Furthermore, OINP maintains the right to change the point values attributed to certain variables or the minimum ITA scores at any moment.
