Canada is giving priority to people who speak French in recent PR draws. On September 13th, those with a CRS score of 446 and a French level of CLB 7 or higher were invited to apply much lower than the usual score of 520+ for the general category. In fact, on August 15th, the required CRS score was as low as 394! If you’re looking to get Canadian PR, learning or improving your French can give you a big advantage.
